In case someone actually reads what I write about and wants to know what I’m ranting about.
Group Projects: Projects of which I am a member of a team.
- Project Nekohime (BL Soft): Programmer, Battle Engine Junkie, Forum Administrator, Project Manager
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: another year?
Individual Projects: Pet projects of mine that I work on, occasionally.
- Project T: My main project. Less than half a dozen people know of its existence, and only two really know anything in any sort of detail. Suffered massive data loss when my source documents and backup failed to work, but most of it exists only in my head, anyway.
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: never
- Project Ars Goetia: A game project trying to recreate certain aspects of MMORPGs into a single-player RPG without sacrificing story and character development. Strictly of the fantasy-genre, as I want to create a game without science fiction concepts and technology.
- Work-in-progress
- Estimated date of completion: three years.
- Project Mercury: A more generalized spin-off of Project AMI, if AMI doesn’t end up directly becoming Mercury. A document management solution currently aimed at writers to help organize and develop their writing projects. Also allows for dynamic presentation of their work in various ways, such as chronological versus presentational, public versus private, and fact versus perception (which I like to call Spoiler Mode).
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: just bit behind short of never.
- Dark Heresy Player’s Servitor: A web application that creates, organizes, tracks, and stores player data in Warhammer 40000: Dark Heresy. More importantly, this is a web development practice.
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: six months.
- Dark Heresy GM’s Servitor: A web application that helps a GM run a game by quickly providing him all the information he needs. This includes rolling dice, looking up tables, monitoring his players’ stats, and performing calculations. It is not intended to actually run a game. Concurrently created along with the Player’s Servitor.
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: six months.
- Aias Administrator: A web application meant to recreate functions of phpMyAdmin using AJAX and as much standards-compliance as possible. A practice in web development and AJAX. The aim is to make it simple enough that a non-administrator can find his way around easily.
- Work-in-progress.
- Estimated date of completion: six months.
- Project AMI: A subproject of Project T, standing for Archive Modernization Initiative. A way to store multiple versions of a data entry dependent on timeframe and perspective.
- Conceptual stage.
- Estimated date of completio: just short of never.
- Project World Egg – Code:NASU: Recreating Nasuverse in code as accurately as possible. Involves several planning stages, abstractions, hierarchies, and interconnections as possible. Code:NASU involves the coding aspect; World Egg itself is still somewhat classified.
- Indefinitely on-hold.
- Estimated date of completion: Unknown.
- Anime CD Indexer: Java Programming project. Indexes whatever anime fansubs I have or whatever, organizes by series, episodes, source, whatever. Mostly an experiment on databasing and GUI design. Suffered from total data loss when my both my working copy and backup failed to work.
- Indefinitely on-hold.
- Estimated date of completion: Unknown.
- Project S: In short, beating old (and not necessarily classic, or even good) games, most likely emulated, then writing a review, creating screenshots, ripping sprites, making icons, and sometimes drafting an FAQ or walkthrough for it. And, occassionally, a script.
- Indefinitely on-hold.
- Estimated date of completion: Unknown.
- Project C: A derivative game systems based on elements from Project T. Includes an third-person action RPG (think Zone of the Enders, but with RPG elements), traditional RPG, and a turn-based tactical RPG, a realtime strategy game, a god simulator, a mech simulator, and a visual novel. Yes, you heard me; a visual floogin’ novel.
- Indefinitely on-hold.
- Estimated date of completion: after the Apocalypse.
Finished Projects: More or less done.
- Tsukihime Translation Project (Revolve Translations, Mirrormoon): Beta Proofer / Beta Tester.
- Done.
- Comments: Wish I could have done more… >_>
Dead Projects: Murdered to death.
- Project Matou: TYPE-MOON fanfiction project. Will cover the second Heaven’s Feel. Nasu-style writing.
- Died: Saturday, December 30th, 2006 @ 1:46AM.
- Cause(s) of death: Fate/hollow ataraxia & Fate/zero.
- Project W (WVB): Writer, Editor
- Died: Monday, September 9th, 2008 @ 8:05PM
- Cause(s) of death: Long beaten to the punch by Wookiepedia, which is a very wonderful wiki.
- Project Akasha: Setting the record straight. All is else is classified.
- Died: Monday, September 9th, 2008 @ 8:08PM
- Cause(s) of death: I barely remember its goals, and my personal ethic does not agree with its intended audience.
- Project Bad End: Chronicle my impressions of the bad ends in Fate/stay night as I run across them. Purely for my own benefit to help my Japanese comprehension.
- Died: Monday, September 9th, 2008 @ 8:13PM
- Cause(s) of death: I don’think I’ll ever have time to seriously study Japanese again.
- Project Neco-Arc: Creation of a bot in the #beastslair channel, to provide several different functions. I’ll probably create a page outlining stuff.
- Died: Monday, September 9th, 2008 @ 8:14PM
- Cause(s) of death: Privacy issues, spam issues, general lack of interest.
